Come along with me...Covent Garden

After visiting Alexander McQueen's amazing exhibition at the V&A, we decided to take a trip to Covent Garden. It was the hottest day of the year so perfect weather! I've always loved the pretty atmosphere of Covent Garden, it's somewhere you should definitely take a visit to if you love shopping, eating and drinking in an open atmosphere. There are lots of theaters nearby too so you can make a day of it!

What's your favorite place to visit in London?

I'm not one to be cringey but sometimes when something feels too good, it's something worth sharing. It wasn't that long ago that the unexpected happened, at this time everything was a whirlwind and everything went so fast, it really did feel like a dream.

If you've been following my blog or Instagram posts, you will have noticed that every few months or so, I'm sharing my time with one person. It isn't laziness in my posting, this is actually how often I get to see this person. In 9 months, I've physically been with them for 35 days, which isn't a lot of time to show for all the feelings between us.

A sudden decision for an arranged family trip to Sunny Beach resulted in me making a number of friends, one of which devoted so much of their limited time to me and showed dedication towards me that I have never received before.  It happened to be that we both made a promise for this to continue, no matter how far the distance was.

Several Facebook chats and 5 minute Skype calls passed us through a very difficult time, we began to realise that patience is the most important factor if we wanted this to work. It didn't take long before flights were booked and visits began to happen...again, again and again.

It takes a lot of trust, time and understanding to be able to form a relationship between people of 2 countries. But, it is something that we've managed to achieve and look forward to for our life together in the future.

I wanted to share with you a video that I've made from my latest visit to Bulgaria in the Easter holidays. It's something that I was really passionate about making and with anything I always look for a way to make memories. I hope you like it, I know it's not everyones thing but I really enjoyed making this and may consider doing more!

The Blogs I'm Loving

Since I've been back in the bloggerphere, I've really began to enjoy finding and reading new blogs! What I really love is the feeling I get when I begin to develop a connection with the blogger and I see them as more of a friend. I've noticed that lately with a couple of bloggers and I thought I'd share them with you if you don't know them already.

It is highly likely that Fran has changed her layout since then, she does that a lot! She has so much energy and creativity inside her and I love it because it really shows how much she loves what she is doing. I just seem to love every post she writes. They are so varied! One day its a lifestyle post, a product review, baking or a photo diary which I all love to have a little nosey at! I really want her to keep doing what she's doing because I know her readers are just going to increase and increase!

Salt and Chic

So Amy is basically my style idol. I love every outfit she wears and I adore her hair and face. Ok I promise I'm not creepy! As well as her gorgeous fashion posts, she also includes beauty and travel posts which are so lovely to read when coming from fellow bloggers. Her photography is always on point and she really inspires me be adventurous with my clothing. I'm hoping one day to do my own outfit posts!

Sun and Sany

Stanislava is the person I go to when I need a little update in Bulgarian knowledge. Her blog is full of gorgeous photos of many cities which make me want to visit again immediately. I love reading up about traditions which are new to me as these are the things I'm about to explore. I admire how she always photographs her friends also, (I don't think I could get my friends doing that!) it means that not only are we meeting Stani, we are also meeting her friends and being introduced to her life. Having the English/Bulgarian translation is also really handy if you're trying to learn the language ;)

Thats all for now. I really loved making this post, I think it is important to share the love sometimes. Please leave your blog links below so that I can check you all out :)

MAC | Morange

Mac Morange lipstick review

eek you don't know how long I've wanted this lipstick... although I never actually thought I would love it as much as I do, it's gorgeous!

Mac Morange lipstick review

I remember watching a Zoella video where this lipstick was mentioned and ever since that moment I knew I wanted it. I was a bit sceptical of how it would look, is it normal to have bright orange lips? Well I can tell you now, I really don't care. This lightens up my whole face and I adore it SO much!

I really can't wait to rock this throughout the summer months, this electric colour is so's bound to make heads turn! This is only my second MAC lipstick, I bought it whilst I was at the airport for that cheeky little discount. I've gone from Creme Cup to Morange... bit of a difference! Anyway the consistency of this is smooth and glides easily over the lips. And yes, I love the smell of this also...

Orange lips? Yay or nay?

Help! I'm Dating a Blogger

How to date a blogger

It recently occurred to me what thoughts were going through my boyfriends head when I went to visit him last. From being brought up in different environments, I found everything so fascinating and I couldn't help but snap away at the everyday things that he would see as ordinary. I was purely thinking of the Instagram opportunities! I thought I'd gather a collection of points which may be relatable or even helpful if your partner is a blogger.

  • Yes I really do need another red lipstick...even though I already own one in the exact same shade
  • Re-arranging my dressing table everyday is normal
  • A tatty, disintegrating bus stop is artistic okay?
  • Can you take a photo of me please?
  • And another, but at a different angle?
  • Taking more than one photo is necessary
  • It is essential to wait for the correct lighting
  • Some days it is blogging first
  • Some days it is blogging last
  • Yes I have to buy a MacBook
  • I need a white table :(
  • Hmmmm lets go lookbook shopping
  • I need another pair of jeans
  • And some new bedding
  • We need to move somewhere with nice scenery
  • Hang on I just got an important e-mail BRB
  • Wait....wait..I need to take a photo! please...wait!
  • Oh and not to forget: Secretly hoping that your partner reads your wishlist posts!
I think if you know a blogger, these thoughts will definitely be going through their head!

Do you feel the frustration and confusion from your partner? Let me know in the comments :)

Beauty Confidential Offer with House of Fraser *

House of Fraser beauty confidential offer with Lancôme Galatéis Douceur
House of Fraser beauty confidential offer with Lancôme Galatéis Douceur

The lovely team at House of Fraser are treating the beauty world to an exciting offer this April. We get to receive £10 off one of our own beauty favourites when we purchase one of theirs, this includes the likes of the Naked Palettes, Bobbi Brown products and Giorgio Armani's Luminous Silk foundation. The full product list can be found here. The offer lasts until the 19th of April, so if you don't want to miss out get yourself over to House of Fraser!

I've been lucky enough to have the opportunity to try out one of House of Frasers favourites, which has now become one of my own. The Lancôme Galatéis Douceur cleansing fluid is what I use as part of my morning and evening routines. The formula is perfect for removing stubborn make up and oil and simultaneously leaves behind fresh, clean skin. Whilst being suited for all skin types, the lotion is a very gentle approach to achieve a thorough cleanse.

In my routine, I like to first quickly remove any makeup or dirt with Garniers Micellar water just so that there is a bit of moisture to work with on the skin. I then begin to pump a small amount onto my fingers and massage into the skin with circular movements. As you're doing this, the makeup begins to disintegrate and flake off the skins surface. I do this to my whole face. I was sceptical at first about using this on my eyes, as this area is the most sensitive, however I was surprised by how successful it was. It was quite strange for bits of my mascara to break away! Once you've achieved the look of flakey makeup all over your face, it is now time to wipe it all away using a cotton pad. You're then left with soft, glowing and supple skin... perfect! Just to finish off, I give myself another quick massage with a moisturiser, doing these little massages on your face really helps to rejuvenate the skin as it works by bringing blood to the surface and helping with circulation.

I'm so happy with this product, it really has helped in my routine and has improved my skin hugely. A cleansing milk was new to me as I usually stick with waters or butters, but I find that this leaves my skin feeling hydrated and non greasy.

If you're thinking of choosing the Lancôme Galatéis Douceur cleansing fluid as one of the favourites then you can find it here

Recently I've Been Travelling

For those that don't know, I am in a long distance relationship. Having booked my flight in November, it seemed like the time till Easter was only ever getting slower. And so when the Easter Holidays arrived, I managed to successfully travel to Bulgaria on my own so that I could be re-united with my boyfriend Kris and to meet his family and friends.

Every time we meet, our time is limited so things like photos often get forgotten due to us wanting to experience life at the present moment. Many selfies were taken but in terms of sight seeing, I only have a selected bunch of photos to share with you. The majority of these were taken in the lovely city of Veliko Tarnovo and some in Targovishte. I can't wait to visit again :)
