Hello everyone!
My bedroom has currently been pulled apart as my Dad is painting the walls. This means all of my stuff has been shuffled about around the house and of course, this is the time I have to be low on photographs! Soon my room will be finished so I'll be able to get my blog back into action and schedule some posts for when I'm away next week :)

In the mean time, I visited my favourite local area with my Mum and took my trusty camera along with me. Leigh on Sea is kind of split into two; new and old. The old area is where you will find the beach and little beach shops where you can find traditional gifts and yummy seaside food. The newer area is a little high street full of hustle and bustle, and FULL of quirky little shops along the broadway. I always love shopping here and supporting the independent shops. It's nice to be able to buy gifts or little pieces that you know you can't find in your local supermarket!

I hope you like the photos, are there any secret areas that you love?

House of Fraser Autumn/Winter Collection 2015

It's official that exams had consumed me and my time for blogging became very limited. However, here I am and I'm ready to get updating you all on where I've been!

A couple of weeks ago, I was invited by House of Fraser to view this years Autumn and Winter collection. It was my first event and I wanted to make sure I was there to see all the delights, this meant a quick 'doctors note' was given to the college and away I was! I met up with Katie who is so lovely! We had a great natter whilst we were walking around the showrooms, and being our usual clumsy selves we knocked everything off the shelves! We had a peep round the womenswear collection as well as the homeware, there is so much to look out for this winter.

There were such a vast collection of gorgeous bags, every shape, colour and style could be found in every corner of the room. I particularly loved the cute fluffy ones! I also really liked the coat and shirt combinations, the monochrome really suited a clash of colour and some of the coats were so cleverly detailed.

What with going to university in September, I finally get the chance to have an excuse for looking at homeware! I absolutely adored the collection. There were such bold colours to brighten any gloomy winter day, and they included a range of throws which means you could change your room to suit your mood that day! Yes please. I also noticed that copper and bronze were a big deal, it adds such a simple and elegant touch to a room!

So those were the pictures from the event, let me know what you'll be looking out for later this year!
